About
A sourcing house, not a farm
Vinaherb buys Vietnamese botanical material at origin, processes and packs it to a written specification, and ships it to businesses that use it as an input.
What we do
Vinaherb was founded in 2021. We buy dried botanical material inside Vietnam, process and pack it, and sell it business to business: to importers, spice blenders, supplement brands, cosmetic formulators and manufacturers who need a consistent input rather than a finished product.
We do not farm. Being clear about that is the point: what we are responsible for is the material that leaves our packing house, the specification it was bought against, and the paperwork that travels with it.
Where the material comes from
Three kinds of supplier, chosen per crop rather than as a policy:
Smallholder growers
Bought directly from the households that grew it, crop by crop and season by season.
Cooperatives
Where a crop is aggregated locally before it moves, we buy through the cooperative that does the aggregating.
Partner processors
Some material reaches us through other Vietnamese companies that have already dried or part-processed it. We say so rather than describe every lot as farm-direct.
Whichever route a lot took, it is traceable back to the growing area it came from, and that trace is what the lot code on the sack refers to.
How it is checked
Testing is done mainly by third-party laboratories rather than in-house, and a certificate of analysis is issued per lot. A trade account is what releases those documents, because they are specific to the lot you are being offered and mean nothing detached from it.

Working with us
Everything Vinaherb sells is sold business to business, against a verified trading account. The trade program page sets out what an account opens and how one is approved.
