Pseuderanthemum palatiferum
Hoàn ngọc (Pseuderanthemum palatiferum) is a fast-growing member of a genus of small to medium-sized shrubs and perennial herbs in the acanthus family, with paired, simple leaves carrying cystoliths. In Vietnam it is recorded in Lạng Sơn and Ninh Bình, and it is planted in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and many other places, usually around the house; it also occurs in India and southern China. New plants are raised from cuttings, and the genus is best grown in a coarse, fertile, well-drained but moisture-retentive soil under partial shade. In Vietnam the part gathered is the whole plant, leaves and all.
