Tiliacora triandra
Tiliacora (Tiliacora triandra) is a dioecious woody climber of the moonseed family, its stems striate, its alternate leaves simple and untoothed, elliptical to lanceolate and 6.5-11 cm long, with three to five veins running from the base. Small yellowish flowers are borne in pseudo-racemes in the leaf axils or on the older wood, and are followed by clusters of red drupes under a centimetre across. The vine grows in forest and scrub up to 1300 m on rocky, clayey and limestone ground, from Assam through southern Burma, Indo-China and Thailand into Peninsular Malaysia. In Thailand the leafy shoots are used as a flavouring in cooking.
